She loves this time of year. People say spring is the time to fall in love. Spring is when it all happens, when there are picnics and pool dates and softball games. But for her it was the snow, every time. Springtime, the sky was to far away. It was piercing blue and miles up. The colors were too sharp and everything was all edges.
